Testing lattice structures during LPBF

Metal lattices, for instance produced by additive manufacturing, are already impacting the metal industry – and will do so more and more – just think of weight reduction and the possibility to tailor the mechanical properties. However, these structures are extremely difficult to inspect with standard techniques. We are proud to share this in-situ inspection of a lattice produced within an SLM^®125 LPBF machine.
